Harmonicdog Releases MultiTrack DAW For iPad, iPhone

Features 24 Stereo Tracks, Non-Destructive Editing, SoundCloud Upload & More

PETALUMA, California—June 18, 2010—Harmonicdog today released MultiTrack DAW recording application for iPhone™, iPod touch™ and iPad™, which is a mobile Digital Audio Workstation. MultiTrack DAW Recording software supports up to 24 stereo tracks, has full audio editing capabilities, and allows playback of all tracks simultaneously while recording in stereo.

MultiTrack DAW allows users to record a track at a time, overdubbing tracks just like a real recording studio. Users of the software see a graphical representation of the waveform on screen and up to 4 tracks visible at a time on an iPod or iPhone, and 8 tracks visible at a time on an iPad in landscape mode or 11 tracks visible at a time in portrait mode. MultiTrack DAW users also have a full suite of non-destructive editing tools at their fingertips, with intuitive popup controls that take advantage of the touch screen and gesturing of Apple devices.

Harmonicdog stunned to music app world with it's previous "MultiTrack - 16 Track Recorder" iPhone application, which supported 16 stereo tracks. To date, no other app developer has supported more than 8 mono tracks.
